Özlem Uyan, PhD

She was born in Çanakkale, Turkey (4th January 1988), After graduating

from Fine Arts High School in Çanakkale which is her hometown. She

completed her licence degree at Hacettepe University Faculty of Fine

Arts Graphic Design Department in Ankara which is capital city of Turkey.

Afterwards she completed her master degree at Haliç University Faculty

of Fine Arts Graphic Design in Istanbul which is the biggest city in Turkey.

She is working on her Phd at Dokuz Eylül University Institute of Fine Arts

Graphic Department. She is a graphic designer and a lecturer at Onsekiz

Mart University Faculty of Fine Arts Graphic Department since 2010. Her

works based on are collage works, corporate identity, advertising, history

of graphic design and typography. She is an organizer and team leader of

Turkey in project TINESTE 2016 that is a student typography exhibition

of different countries which are Turkey, Indonesia, Nicaragua and Ecuador.

As a second project of this cooperative TYPE UNITE 2017 is completed. It

was lead by 7 academicians together, Özlem was one of them. Participation

student designers from Turkey, Indonesia, Ecuador, Poland, China, South

Korea, and the United States. And also she participates in many different

national and international exhibitions.
