David Bieloh, M.F.A

Originally from Oklahoma, David studied graphic design in Dallas, Texas where he lived and worked as a designer and educator for 15 years, ultimately receiving his MFA in Communication Design from the University of North Texas. 

David also has an MA in Graphic Design from Texas Woman's University, and a BS in Marketing from Oklahoma State University. He began his teaching career in 1994 at the Art Institute of Dallas, followed by faculty positions at Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas, and Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. 

David then served as Chair of the Department of Art (and Professor of Design) at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, and then Professor of Design and Chair of the Graphic Design Program at the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design in Denver, Colorado. David also Chaired the M.A. online program that he developed in Design Strategy + Innovation at RMCAD.

David has received many national and international awards and recognition for his graphic design work, which has been published in Graphis, Logo Lounge, Creative Quarterly Magazine, Creative Quarterly Best Of, the Summit International Awards, and Design Principles and Practices. He has presented scholarly papers on a variety of design-related issues at national and international conferences, and he maintains a current professional design practice with clients around the United States.

David's former students, most of which he is still in contact with, have won numerous awards and accolades, and work around the world as graphic designers, art directors, user interface and user experience designers, web designers, branding specialists, editorial designers, motion graphics designers, digital illustrators, production specialists, and professional studio owners.
