TYPE UNITE PROJECT
TYPE UNITE is a student typography exhibition bringing together work by students from eight different countries:
Turkey, Indonesia, Ecuador, Poland, United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Hungary, and the United States.

Every culture has its unique ‘texture’, yet all people and communities are connected. We are all human beings that share the same planet. In a world that is creating separation between countries and cultures, how can design & typography help bring us together? How do we celebrate the differences that make the world interesting in a world that aims to divide people based on politics, geography, economies, and religion? Together we search to find ways to simplify, amplify, and unify communications between countries, languages, and cultures.

TYPE UNITE Dubai 2017 is an International Typographic Poster Design Exhibition organized in cooperation with TYPE UNITE, Switzerland Embassy, United Design Alliance to celebrate typography, education and practice. The Typography Poster Exhibition highlights the different views, cultures, and design approaches used by various countries. The works of 120 designers (professors and students from 13 universities) from UAE, South Korea, Denmark, Turkey, USA, Indonesia, Ecuador, Poland and China explore typographic visual form, contemporary aesthetics of poster design and inspire new typographic approaches.Read More
